Sound Generations’ Caregiver Support Program has been a lifeline for countless families in King County, offering free, personalized services that connect unpaid caregivers to vital resources, counseling, and community education. These services empower caregivers to provide better care while maintaining their well-being.
But now, this essential program is in crisis. A recent $120,000 funding loss has created a critical $125,000 gap, jeopardizing counseling sessions, service coordination, and outreach efforts. Without immediate community support, waitlists will grow, and service cuts are inevitable.
Caregiver support changes lives. As one family member of a Caregiver Support client shared: “I was able to be her daughter again instead of her accountant, housekeeper, etc. My mom appreciated it too, as it allowed her more independence… With a Little Help staff respected that mom could do many things yet, and didn’t take that away from her.”
Act now—donate today to bridge this urgent funding gap and protect the support caregivers rely on. Every gift makes a difference.
