Donate Goods & Services to Support Older Adults in King County

Sound Generations relies on donations from our community to provide essential goods and services that help older adults across Seattle and King County.

In-kind donations help us to have better access to goods and services that would otherwise be unaffordable and ensure that our programs stay accessible to the tens of thousands of older adults we serve each year. Please order from our Amazon Wish List OR contact Kaitlyn Redwood at kaitlyn.redwood@soundgenerations.org or 206-727-6230 if you have some items you think might be useful to us.

We don’t have much storage for large donations that aren’t immediately needed; please contact us to make sure we can use your items before sending them to us. Thank you!

Examples of Accepted Donations

  • Household Items – Donations of small kitchen appliances, cookware, and non-perishable food help stock meal programs and support older adults in need.
  • Thrift Store Donations – Gently used clothing and goods help fund senior center thrift stores, providing essential services for aging adults.
  • Gift Cards – Non-cash donations like grocery or retail gift cards allow programs to purchase exactly what’s needed.
  • Office & Program Supplies – Printer paper, envelopes, and office essentials help keep senior programs running smoothly.
  • Donated household items collected at Sound Generations donation centers, excluding used clothing, outdated electronics, and perishable foods, supporting senior care services in Seattle and King County
