Serving on Sound Generations’ Board of Directors is a great way to hone your nonprofit administration acumen while making a profound effect in social services. Older adults, adults with disabilities, and those who care from them can benefit from your partnership, advocacy, and generosity.  By 2025, 1 in 4 adults in King County will be 65 or older and the number living in poverty will double.  This growth is an indication that our advocacy and determination to support these vital members of society is working but, we cannot advocate for 25% of the population alone.

We are actively looking for new board members.  We need your support to ensure the provision of vital resources aging adults need to stay healthy, feel included, and respected while leading a quality life are sustained. Please read the materials below to help you gain better insight on what we do and who we serve.
