Jim Wigfall, Chief Executive Officer
After more than 31 years with The Boeing Company, Jim Wigfall retired at the end of 2017 as the Vice President, Shared Services Group (SSG) Business Partner, Boeing Commercial Airplanes. In this role, Jim was responsible for all of the facilities, janitorial, construction and electrical support at all commercial airplane sites. In addition he was responsible for strategic alignment and SSG service delivery in support of commercial airplanes’ daily operations.
Previous to this role, Jim held several leadership positions including Vice President of SSG Supplier Management with the responsibility for the procurement of all non-production goods and services for the entire Boeing Company. He led the Supply Chain Services Organization which included Investment Recovery and Distribution, Business and Technical Information Management, Creative Services, Library and Learning Centers, and Printing Services & Engineering Information Management. Jim also led the Year 2000 (Y2K) Program for Commercial Airplanes, just to name a few of his key roles.
Jim has also been very active in the community. He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees for the King County Library System and on the Board of Directors for Special Olympics Washington. He is also on The Citadel School of Business Advisory Board and a member of The Citadel Foundation Board. He has served on several other Boards including the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Trustees for The Evergreen State College and the Overlake Hospital Foundation Board. Making a difference in the community has always been a passion for Jim.
Jim attended The Citadel where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science. He served four years in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged as a Captain in the Signal Corps in Augusta, GA. He obtained his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee specializing in Aerospace. Jim resides in Newcastle, WA. and has one daughter, who is a lawyer working in Los Angeles, CA. Jim likes to write fiction, is an avid sports fan, and enjoys playing golf.
