Sound Generations’ generous benefit package includes Medical, Dental, and Vision plans, 401(k), Paid Vacation & Sick days, Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Savings Account with employer contributions, an Employee Assistance Program, and up to 12 Paid Holidays. Additional benefits include paid Life Insurance, Long Term Disability coverage, and a cash benefit after one year of service.


We offer two different medical plan options through Premera Blue Cross.  Both plans include access to Teledoc and a 24-hour health line with registered nurses available to discuss health concerns and treatment options.  Our “Base” plan is available at no cost to employees if insured at an employee only coverage level.


We offer two different dental plan options provided through Willamette Dental or Delta Dental of Washington.  Our Willamette Dental option is available at no cost to employees for employee only coverage.


Employees may elect vision coverage, provided through VSP.  Coverage includes one exam per plan year with a $10 co-payment and an allowance for eyeglass lenses, frames or contact lenses.


Our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan provides you the opportunity to build assets over the long term with tax‐ favored savings. The maximum annual contribution is $19,000 (employees 50 and older can make additional catch‐up contributions of $6,000). All funds contributed are always 100% vested.

Commuter Benefits

Sound Generations offers a subsidy to eligible employees who elect to purchase transit products (monthly passes) on an ORCA card through the agency.


Sound Generation employees accrue up to three (3) weeks of vacation per year. You can use this time for vacation, personal leave, etc. Employees also accrue sick time.


We offer 12 paid holidays each year; 10 designated holidays and 2 floating holidays.
