Some positions generate significant numbers of applications, so time frames are approximate. We ask that you please be patient during this important process.

Pre-Employment & Background Checks
Background checks are conducted on all applicants, who are selected to continue in the post-offer process. Driver abstracts are conducted on all positions that operate a company vehicle, who are selected to continue in the post-offer process. Job offers for employment for federal funded passenger transport positions will be conditioned on satisfactory results of a post-offer drug screen and medical examination or inquiry.

Sound Generations generous benefit package includes Medical, Dental, and Vision plans, 401(k), Paid Vacation & Sick days, Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Savings Account with employer contributions, an Employee Assistance Program, ORCA Pass, and up to 12 Paid Holidays. Additional benefits include paid Life Insurance, Long Term Disability coverage, and a cash benefit after one year of service.
We offer two different medical plan options through Premera Blue Cross. Both plans include access to Teledoc and a 24-hour health line with registered nurses available to discuss health concerns and treatment options. Our “Base” plan is available at no cost to employees if insured at an employee only coverage level.
We offer two different dental plan options provided through Willamette Dental or Delta Dental of Washington. Our Willamette Dental option is available at no cost to employees for employee only coverage.
Employees may elect vision coverage, provided through VSP. Coverage includes one exam per plan year with a $10 co-payment and an allowance for eyeglass lenses, frames or contact lenses.
Our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan provides you the opportunity to build assets over the long term with tax‐ favored savings. The maximum annual elective deferrals is $19,500 (employees 50 and older can make additional catch‐up contributions of $6,500). All funds contributed are always 100% vested.
Sound Generations offers a 100% subsidy to eligible employees who elect an ORCA Business Passport card through the agency.
Vacation & Holidays
Sound Generation employees accrue up to three (3) weeks of vacation per year. You can use this time for vacation, personal leave, etc. Employees also accrue sick time.
We offer 12 paid holidays each year. Ten designated holidays and two floating holidays.
