Join our Volunteer team to help Meals on Wheels in King County fight hunger! As a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, you will belong to a team committed to helping neighbors who are homebound maintain their health and independence with nutritious food, personal contact, and caring service.

Put your organizational skills to good use! We are in need of two Volunteer Site Co-Coordinator. This volunteer position requires availability of 3-4 hours weekly, including Thursdays 9:00 am – 11:00 am. In this position, your main responsibility is to coordinate our wonderful volunteers for the delivery of meals, and various office tasks that keep Meals on Wheels humming along on schedule. In a pinch, the Coordinator can fill in for any member of the Meals on Wheels team, including calling clients for their meal orders and delivering meals. We are looking for someone that is available longer term.

The Meals on Wheels team will provide training and ongoing support. The Volunteer Site Coordinator reports to a Volunteer Coordinator on staff who is available to help with questions or concerns.

As a Volunteer Site Co-Coordinator, you play an important role in helping meals reach older adults in our community. You’ll also help create a welcoming and organized experience for the volunteers who make these deliveries possible.

Requirements: Complete the Meals on Wheels Volunteer Application, consent to a Washington State Patrol background check, the ability to lift 15 pounds, and be age 18 or more.

Looking for a Fun and Rewarding Volunteer Opportunity? Volunteer with Meals on Wheels! As a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, you’ll be part of a compassionate team dedicated to helping seniors who are homebound maintain their health and independence. You’ll also be helping to combat social isolation and break down barriers for seniors who need it most.  By providing nutritious meals, personal contact, and caring service, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the well-being of seniors in your community.

Site Co-Coordinator needed Thursday mornings from 7:30am – 11:00am.   In this position, your main responsibility is to coordinate our wonderful team of volunteers for the delivery of meals and complete various office tasks that keep Meals on Wheels humming along on schedule. In a pinch, the Co-Coordinator can fill in for any member of the Meals on Wheels team, including calling clients for their order and delivering meals. Training for this position is provided. 

Requirements: Complete a Volunteer Application, be able to pass a background check, have a vehicle, valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance. Due the nature of what we do and the training that is involved we look for volunteers who are wanting to volunteer with us for an ongoing basis.

Looking for a volunteer opportunity that is fun and rewarding? Join our Volunteer team! As a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, you will belong to a team committed to helping homebound seniors maintain their health and independence with nutritious food, personal contact, and caring service.

We are looking for a volunteer to deliver meals Thursday mornings. Delivery Drivers arrive at our site in Tukwila to pick up meals around 8:30am, and deliveries typically take 2 – 3 hours. Drive client meal orders to their homes, providing clients with nutrition as well as a moment of invaluable face-to-face contact. When you deliver a meal, you’re a reminder that someone cares.

Mileage is reimbursable while making deliveries. We are looking for volunteers who are interested in volunteering long term.

Drive client meal orders to their homes, providing clients with nutrition as well as a moment of invaluable face-to-face contact. When you deliver a meal, you’re a reminder that someone cares. 

This position would be on an occasional basis, filling in when one of weekly drivers is away. Mileage is reimbursable while making deliveries. We are looking for volunteers who are interested in volunteering long term.
