Schedule:      Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.     

Duration:        Effective immediately and on-going

Summary:      1st point of contact as facility visitors enter the facility.  Provide information regarding classes, services and Special Events.  Accept class registrations.

Full Description:  Warmly greet visitors as they enter the facility; guide visitors to current COVID-19 Safety mandates; direct guests to classroom locations (this will require at times, physically walking them to a classroom); responsible for receipting daily cash/credit card payments and balancing receipts to POS system (Point of Sales system); registration of class/program attendees with online data entry; receipting donation funds; information assistance to callers on multi-phone line system; manage facility access in accordance with COVID-19 mandates; create warm, welcoming atmosphere for individuals of all backgrounds, cultures, races and ethnicities.

Requirements:  Must have Microsoft Word skills, Excel spreadsheet, Outlook and Zoom meeting experience.  Have worked with cash handling in recent years to include using a POS system (Point of Sales system – electronic cash register or computer cash handling program).  Be very flexible and adaptable (COVID-19 will continue to influence our practices through 2021 with daily changes at times in how we manage the senior center).  Must have an understanding of HIPPA regulations and client/agency confidentiality policies.  Willingness and ability to adhere to the Sound Generations Employee/Volunteer Policies.  Enjoys with working with the public and providing detail assistance.  Ability to abide by and guide facility guests in all safety mandates as well as the ever-changing Health Codes associated with COVID-19.  Must complete a volunteer application packet and interview process.  Must show proof of vaccination.
