Join our Volunteer team to help Meals on Wheels in King County fight hunger! As a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, you will belong to a team committed to helping homebound seniors maintain their health and independence with nutritious food, personal contact, and caring service.
Back-Up Volunteer Site Coordinator: In this volunteer position, your main responsibility is to fill in when the Site Coordinator will be away, calling participants for their weekly meal order, coordinating our wonderful volunteers for the delivery of meals, and various office tasks that keep Meals on Wheels humming along on schedule. In a pinch, the Coordinator can fill in for any member of the Meals on Wheels team, including delivering meals to clients. This position currently requires availability on Mondays (about an hour when needed) and Thursday mornings, 8 am – 12 pm, but in a few months it will be Wednesdays instead of Thursdays. Training for this position is provided.This is an on-going volunteer commitment.

Requirements: Complete the Meals on Wheels Volunteer Application, consent to a Washington State Patrol background check, the ability to lift 15 pounds, and be age 25 or more.
