Join our Volunteer team to help Meals on Wheels in King County fight hunger! As a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, you will belong to a team committed to helping homebound seniors maintain their health and independence with nutritious food, personal contact, and caring service.

A volunteer is needed to pack meals in Northshore on Thursday mornings, 8 AM – 9 AM. As a packer, you will bag the meals delivered weekly to homebound seniors. When a delivery goes well – drivers leave with the right bags to deliver and clients receive the meals they ordered – and it’s you we can thank. Training for this position is provided. We are looking for volunteers who are interested in volunteering longer term.

Qualities sought in Meals on Wheels volunteers: Commitment to the well-being of elders, good communication skills, reliability, flexibility, attention to detail, resourcefulness, and good cheer.

Requirements: Complete the Meals on Wheels Volunteer Application, consent to a Washington State Patrol background check, the ability to lift 15 pounds, and be age 21 or more.
