Join our Volunteer team to help Meals on Wheels in King County fight hunger! As a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, you will belong to a team committed to helping homebound seniors maintain their health and independence with nutritious food, personal contact, and caring service.
Volunteer Caller: A volunteer is needed to call Meals on Wheels participants for their weekly order on Tuesday mornings, 9:00 am – 11:30 am, as needed. We’re looking for someone available long-term. Training will be provided.
Qualities sought in Meals on Wheels volunteers: Commitment to the well-being of elders, good communication skills, reliability, attention to detail, and good cheer.
Requirements: Complete the Meals on Wheels Volunteer Application, consent to a Washington State Patrol background check, the ability to lift 15 pounds, and be age 18 or more.
