Hyde Shuttle provides demand response, door-to-door, ADA/Wheelchair accessible transportation for seniors (55 and over) and those living with disabilities in King County communities. Our friendly, specially trained drivers can transport riders to senior and community centers, grocery stores, medical appointments, local destinations, and more within a rider’s given service area. Hyde Shuttle is Free, but donations are welcome and much appreciated. Hyde Shuttle allows you to reclaim your independence and helps you travel, socialize, and thrive within your community. Where Does the Hyde Shuttle Go?
Hyde Shuttles can take riders anywhere within their service area. That includes grocery stores, medical appointments, senior centers, private residents, and more.
Are Hyde Shuttles Wheelchair Accessible?
Yes! Our shuttle buses are equipped with lifts. We can also accommodate scooters, walkers, canes, trained service animals, and portable oxygen.
Do You Have to Pay to Take Hyde Shuttle?
Hyde Shuttle is a free service, but donations are greatly appreciated. We recommend $6 per round trip.
When is Hyde Shuttles Open?
Hyde Shuttles operate Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:00PM. Our office hours are from 8:00AM-4:30PM.
Can a Caretaker or Friend Ride with Me?
You are allowed 1 caretaker/friend to ride along with you. Please inform us that someone will be joining you and if that person has a mobility aid when you request a ride.
Why Was My Ride Request “Denied”?
None of our rides ae guaranteed. Hyde Shuttles is a free service and we strive to assist as many as we can, but sometimes we are unable to do so.
