Sound Generations Story Library

Welcome to the Sound Generations Story Library! This year’s theme for Older Americans Month is “Communities of Strength,” a fitting phrase for the incredible challenges older adults have faced over the last year in addition to the general stigmas facing older members of our community. We are working to fight these stereotypes and change the narrative around aging.

As part of our recognition of older Americans and specifically older adults in King County, we are recognizing the contributions aging adults have made and are making in our community. To support our efforts in changing the narrative around aging, we will be highlighting the personal stories of several friends and clients of Sound Generations each Friday in May.
