In November, Sound Generations celebrate caregivers with a Caregiver Appreciation event to honor the essential role they play in our community. Our Caregiver Support Program is dedicated to easing the challenges caregivers face, providing resources like support groups, counseling, and respite care to help families balance their needs. This program allows caregivers to find relief and focus on being present with their loved ones.
As one family shared, “We’ve appreciated the program very much. I was able to be her daughter again instead of her accountant, housekeeper, etc. My mom appreciated it, too, as it allowed her more independence. She didn’t feel like her kids were treating her like a child. With a Little Help staff respected that mom could do many things yet, and didn’t take that away from her, while taking care of the tasks she couldn’t do anymore.”
