Get Out the Vote for Best in the PNW

In 2023, The Seattle Times seized the opportunity to begin annually celebrating all the brilliant, dependable, and difference-making companies and organizations that call the Pacific Northwest home. The Best in the PNW was born.

The Seattle Times is now in the fourth year of this program, and Sound Generations has gained so much positive recognition and support through other Times initiatives, it makes good sense for us to call on all our supporters and collaborators to “get out the vote” in 2026. Let’s get noticed as one of the area’s best nonprofits whose work benefits tens of thousands of older adults.

Ahead of the Curve

Sound Generations has seen what’s coming and continues to improve and expand our programs. Our area population is experiencing a crucial shift in demographics toward more older adults. If properly understood and supported, they represent a huge community resource, not a burden. Our current strategic plan calls for growth and improvements in all areas of our operations. We aim to assist greater numbers of adults as their ages advance, their needs increase, and their vitality and independence face challenges.

Think Big, Vote Big-hearted

We’re asking you to think big, vote in the Best in the PNW, and also ask your friends and family to vote for us. Voting starts June 8. On or after June 8 you can click HERE. We’ll keep evolving and expanding our programs so older adults can age their way. You’re invited to join in our work by volunteering or providing a contribution.
