Looking for a Fun and Rewarding Volunteer Opportunity? Volunteer with Meals on Wheels! As a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, you’ll be part of a compassionate team dedicated to helping seniors who are homebound maintain their health and independence. You’ll also be helping to combat social isolation and break down barriers for seniors who need it most. By providing nutritious meals, personal contact, and caring service, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the well-being of seniors in your community.
Delivery Drivers: Volunteers are needed to deliver meals to seniors, who are homebound, in Renton on Wednesday mornings, as needed. Drivers typically arrive at the Center at 10 am, load up the meals, and are done with their route in 1 to 2 hours.
Requirements: Complete a Volunteer Application, be able to pass a background check, have a vehicle, valid drivers license and insurance. Due the nature of what we do and the training that is involved we look for volunteers who are wanting to volunteer with us for an ongoing basis.
